Type P594 filters are designed to remove dirt,scale, or other solid substances from gassupply lines to pilots and instruments. Theyare constructed entirely of brass with theexception of the filter element, which iscellulose. The filter element is readilyaccessible and easily cleaned or replaced.

The Type 67AFD aluminum body filter withdrip pot removes dirt, moisture, and otherparticles from air or gas lines. It is commonlyused in pneumatic instruments that do notrequire a pressure reducing regulator.

This filter features two outlet connections,one 90 degrees and the other 180 degrees fromthe inlet connection. The filter comes fromthe factory with a pipe plug in the 180 degreeoutlet. The plug may be easily changed fromone outlet connection to the other as dictatedby piping requirements.

The filter must be installed with the drainvalve pointing down to provide adequatedrainage. For remote drainage, the drain valvemay be removed and 1/4-inch pipe or tubinginstalled in its place.

Y602 Series vent assemblies help to preventthe obstruction of vent openings, allowingproper air or gas flow. These assemblies areavailable in either angle or straight styles.Both styles provide protection to ventopenings when installed and oriented so thatthe opening in the vent assembly facesdownward. Many Y602 Series vents feature adouble-lip moisture deflector to resist waterbridging across the vent opening.

The Type N850 transfer safety valve isdesigned for in-line installation, usually near abulkhead. These valves provide a means ofshutting off the flow of product in the eventof a hose rupture or piping breaks at thetransfer area. In this way large scale loss ofproduct and discharge to the environment canbe avoided. The valves are manually openedand can be closed either manually at theinstalled location or remotely by cable or air.A thermal release is also built into the unit.

The Type N862 is designed specifically forstorage vessel protection. Shaped like anelongated pipe, the valve is available with twonipple sizes and an extension coupling. Thenipple threads are hardened stainless steel tohold up under repeated use. The valve ispneumatically opened and closed through astandard quick-disconnect coupling. Allmoving parts are inside of the valve tominimize damage from rough handling. Thebody and internal parts are of either stainlesssteel or plated steel.

The Type 111 needle valve is a small,lightweight manual throttling valve typicallyused when the application requires a smallport diameter and a large end connection. Theneedle valve is operated by uncapping thebonnet, inserting a key over the recessed valvestem, and turning the key. After adjustment,the bonnet is capped to inhibit tampering.
