Dear Parents, Faculty and Friends of Fiske, On behalf of the Fiske PTO, we would like to warmly welcome you to the Sixth Annual Fiske Frost. We are especially grateful for the hard work of the Fiske Frost Co-Chairs Vanessa Keeney and Karen Lynch and their highly dedicated committee members: Pia Astrom, Anna Bulkovshteyn, Suzana Hilderbrand, Kim Hine, Lisa Magnes, Randa Nuseibeh, Michelle Oldershaw, Deborah Osber, Kristin Pechinsky, Carrie Saint Louis, Kristina Santonelli, Michelle Sidel, Gina Szymanski, Yolanda Taylor and Carrie Walsh. They have planned a fun evening for the entire Fiske community with a great theme to help us escape this cold and snowy weather. Thank you! In addition, we would like to thank the DJs from Party Excitement and Airly Acrobatics who will entertain us throughout the evening. Our biggest thank you goes to Mrs. Crogan, who is retiring after 33 years of teaching and to Mrs. Hayes, who celebrates her 60th year of teaching. Auctions like these would not be successful without the generosity of families like yours in the Fiske community. Silent Auction Bidding begins at 7:00 pm. To bid on an item, place your assigned Bidding # along with the amount of your bid on the lines provided on the bidding sheet. This constitutes a legal contract to purchase the item. Items are listed with a starting bid and must be increased by the increment listed on the bid sheet. A warning announcement will be made prior to the close of bidding. ALL tables will close at 9:00pm. All winners will be calculated and announced shortly thereafter. Any bidding that is made after the closing will be null and void. All sales are FINAL with no refunds given. Payment/Check-out Auction tables will close in succession between 9:00 - 9:15pm. Check-out will begin at 10:00 pm. Payment must be made in full by CASH or CHECK (payable to Fiske School PTO, memo line: Fiske Frost Auction), or by CREDIT CARD (winning amount will be grossed up 2.7% to cover the processing fee) when item is picked up by the winning bidder. The Auction Committee cannot be responsible for items paid for, but not removed, after Friday evening's event. Winners need not be present at the close of the auction and/or check-out. Winners not present at check-out will be contacted regarding payment and receipt of their item. The “Give a Hoot” Campaign Event guests will have the opportunity to give direct donations to support the Fiske PTO programming and activities. For each donation, the donor will have the opportunity to write their donation amount and the name of someone they would like to honor (a student, teacher, staff member, Fiske community, etc.) on a blue cardstock “feather” that will be taped to the owl sign adding layers of feathers and layers of Fiske support. Donors that give $1,000+ will be given a yellow feather to write on. Following the event, the sign will be transported to Fiske Elementary School to be on display for students, teachers, staff, etc. to see all of the Fiske support.
