• Polished gold steel consists of about 60% steel and 40% bronze. It is watertight and heat resistant to 1528F.

• Polished gold steel models are printed by layering liquid binder onto a stainless steel powder base. The glue is deposited onto the stainless steel powder one layer at a time. Once the layering is completed, the models undergo an infusion process wherein bronze replaces the liquid glue. The end product is completely metal. If the model has a specified finish, it is electroplated and then covered with sealant. Polished gold steel products have a .1 micron layer finish that is deposited via an electroplating process. The completely metal and gold plated polished gold steel product is then shipped to the buyer.

Printing Technique: • Using the Choc Creator V2, a desktop

chocolate printer, solid 3D chocolate objects are printed layer-by-layer. Melted chocolate is extruded through a 30ml syringe and can be printed as line tracks from 0.5mm to 1.5mm. The Choc Creator controls the temperature of the chocolate ink and can print onto various surfaces, like cakes, biscuits, dishes, paper or other chocolates.

• Strong and flexible models are printed using a laser that solidifies nylon powder in layers. The layering process may produce a staircase effect on the products. The degree of the staircase effect in the product depends on the orientation of the model in the print tray.
