This course has the approval of all Australian State/ Territory regulators as a pre-requisite for licensing as a fixed radiaon gauge Radiaon Safety Officer (RSO). Assessment Core Paper: Closed book exam, 1-hour multiple choice covering general radiation safety. Main Paper: Open book exam, 2-hour written paper covering the safe use of fixed gauges. manipulations of radioactive sources which may

be involved in loading of sources into source

housings and the repair of defective housing

containing sources.
