Florida Repertory Theatre is seeking a Production Manager to lead the production team for our 16thseason. The upcoming season will include 6 Main stage productions, 3 productions in our studio theatre

and 2 Educational Tours. We work out of two shops both within 3 miles of the theatre and perform ontwo stages in the historic Arcade Theatre building, one of the oldest buildings in Fort Myers.

The Production Manager reports directly to the Artistic Director and is ultimately responsible for

supporting the artistic goals of the theatre by guiding realization of artistic ideas within the constraints of

budget, schedule, materials and resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

1) Oversee all aspects of the Production Department.2) Manage all productions and events at Florida Rep from conceptualization thru strike.3) Develop, supervise, maintain and administer Production Department budget, including individual

budgets for all productions.

4) Develop and maintain production and company-wide schedules and calendars.5) Coordinate and schedule design and production meetings throughout the production process.6) Work in collaboration with the Artistic Director, guest directors, and designers to ensure that

realized productions meet Florida Rep artistic standards and goals.7) Attend and participate in all technical rehearsals and previews.8) Hire and supervise the Production Staff.9) Hire and supervise guest designers and stage managers for all productions.10)Facilitate communication and information sharing between the production staff, administration,

guest artists and other stakeholders11)Manage rentals including inquiries, negotiate rental contracts and supervise rental events.12)Oversee facilities management, negotiating and scheduling with vendors and ensuring continued

operation.

Production Manager requires a Masters Degree or equivalent experience. This is a full-time, salariedposition with benefits; salary commensurate with experience. Florida Rep is an Equal Opportunity
