5nimation with tweening
Tweening 5 tween is an animation that is created by specifying a
state for an ob-ect property in one frame and another state for thatsame ob-ect in another frame. Flash calculates the values for thatob-ect8s properties in between those two frames. !he term tweencomes from the phrase 9in between.:
Flash supports three di3erent types of tweening.
Motion tweens# introduced in Flash CS; /rofessional# are powerful and simple to
create. Motion tweens allow you to create most tweened e3ects.
Classic tweens# which were the only method for motion animation in earlier versionsof Flash # are more comple" to create# but provide certain capabilities that motion
tweens do not.
Shape tweens allow you draw a shape at one speci,c frame in the !imeline# and
change that shape or draw another shape at another speci,c frame. Flash then
interpolates the intermediate shapes for the frames in between# creating theanimation of one shape morphing into another.

Motion tweening
Motion tweens can only have one ob-ect instance associated with
them and use property keyframes instead of keyframes.
Motion tween spans can be stretched and resized in the !imeline andare treated as a single ob-ect.
$ith motion tweens# eases apply across the entire length of a motiontween span.

Classic tweening
Classic tweens use keyframes. eyframes are frames in which a new
instance of an ob-ect appears.
Classic tweens consist of groups of individually selectable frames inthe !imeline.
$ith classic tweens# eases can be applied to the groups of framesbetween the keyframes within the tween.
