The seventh cycle of Flat6Labs Cairo, which started on February 12th, was a unique and exciting one as we welcomed, for the very first time, 10 new teams to join our 4-month

accelerator program. The startup businesses were exceptionally diverse with businesses offering products and services in fields such as creative product design, renewable

energy, agriculture and food solutions, and mobile & web-based applications.

Reform Studio is an internationally award winning product design studio that produces eco-friendly handmade fabrics. Sunergy offers cost-effective renewable energy solutions

with a special focus on lighting and agriculture applications. KhObz is designing and manufacturing a fully automated machine that will produce the Egyptian bread with

‘rada’. Telecosys offers innovative software solutions for tech-based service providers including Telecom Operators, ISPs, and cloud-based service providers. Farminal delivers

technology solutions for dairy farm management. A few of our companies also offer mobile & web-based applications.

Tamreeni, for example, aims to transform the way the Middle East understands and participates in fitness by building and fostering an online local fitness community in both Arabic and English. Mapture allows users to anonymously upload or view content that is

verified by date, time, and location as well as displaying it on a map. LocName is a web & mobile application that gives addresses a short and unique name, which can easily be

shared with friends & clients. Codly is a software development company working on a set of tools and services for mobile developers, UI designers, and their clients. Ennota.com is

a young financial management startup focusing on cash flow management, budgeting, and projections for small businesses in the MENA region.

PRODUCTCodly is a mobile app development platform that generates the UI source code for mobile applications directly from a photoshop file. This saves more than 35% of the developer's time. It helps UI graphic designers transfer their design into mobile application and provides source code for mobile software developers to continue the advanced business logic and system integration parts. Codly consists of three main parts: an Adobe Photoshop extension to help designers slice the psd into images and control the app workflow; Live-Preview, which is a mobile application that allows the designer to preview the application under development on an unlimited number of mobile devices; and finally the cloud-based service, which is responsible for exporting application assets for different devices and resolutions, generating a source code for different platforms, and building binary packages for

different app stores. We are also building a unique marketplace where designers sell their Codly compatible designs, and where developers or anyone interested in creating a mobile application can purchase designs from different categories (login screen, home, about, contact us, ...) with a source code.

PRODUCTMapture is a mobile application on iOS, and coming soon on Android, that allows users to anonymously upload or view photos and videos that are verified by date, time, and location as well as displayed on a map. As opposed to other camera applications that allow users to change their timezones and locations, we pull the date and time from Mapture servers, while tagging the location f rom the phone’s GPS, making the information unalterable, and therefore verifying its source and authenticity. This information is watermarked on the image or video along with the Mapture icon, informing the user of its authenticity. Mapture also maintains user anonimity to ensure that potentially dangerous or exposing content cannot be traced back to them. All content is saved on Mapture servers and can be searched for by exact date, time, and location, simplifying the search process and

essentially creating a digital timeline of verified content available to the public.

The website not only offers users access to content but also allows them to communicate with one another and encourage each other to achieve the fitness goals they set for themselves. The community creates competition among users and creates a sense of accountability as the user’s fitness progress can be tracked by both the user and others in the community. The content consists of video and picture workouts in English and Arabic. The video workouts range from 5 to 10 minutes and are of varying degrees of difficulty. There are seated workouts such as the bootcamp series that engage the entire body as well as other workouts tailored to help our users achieve a certain goal. Such workouts include our weight loss series or our muscle gaining series. Tamreeni also has a Healthy Living Blog that is written by a clinical nutritionist. The blog offers advice about what foods to eat for a healthier body, best times to workout and how to generally lead a healthier lifestyle. A fitness directory consisting of all the fitness institutions in the region including gyms, yoga studios, martial arts studios, and other types of sports clubs and events will also

be included in Tamreeni’s website to make the information easily accessible to community members.

VALUE PROPOSITIONWe are revolutionizing fitness in the Middle East. Tamreeni eliminates the concept of exclusive and inaccessible fitness by making fitness available to everyone in the Middle East. Tamreeni brings all the information required to lead a healthy lifestyle in one location. All you need to do is join!

TARGET MARKETWe aim to attract users between the ages of 20-40 who are interested in fitness but cannot attend a class or gym. This can be due to not having or being able to afford a gym membership, time constraints that make committing to a gym or scheduled class unfeasible, or simply due to only being comfortable working out at home. Their interest can range from a fitness newcomer to an avid, fit athlete. Since the website provides alternatives to gyms and organized classes, it has a wider reach than a traditional gym would. The challenges and workouts posted will be feasible at home or at the gym, making it possible to

target the busy mother of 3 as well as the overworked employee. It targets the desire that an individual has to workout wherever and whenever it may be. Thus, our target market becomes defined by a common goal among individuals—a goal to be a fitter, better you.

BUSINESS MODELTamreeni aims to build a strong user base in order to become attractive for sponsorships in the short and medium terms. Upon solidifying the brand and further expanding the user base, we will provide value added services like personalized fitness and nutrition plans in collaboration with our nutritionist.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGEWe offer a Middle Eastern online fitness community in both Arabic and English that supports users to workout without the assistance of a gym, team or a personal trainer and also gives them a support system to encourage them to accomplish their fitness goals.
