For our non-French speakers who wish to jointo learn French intensively in full immersion

In Collège Champittet French is mandatory up to age 14.We offer a special French as a Foreign language programme (FLE), for our non-francophone students, with the possibility to validate the academic year.As of the age of 14, students can choose the International Baccalaureate programmein English (pre-IB and IB)

11th & 13th GradeFrench as a Foreign Language (min. number of students : 5)

For students who are motivated to take1 or 2 “gap” year(s) in order to studyFrench intensively, in small FLE classes, before returning back home to finish their studies, while validating the academic year.Full immersion in French

All subjects in French (FLE* 13 periods +maths, sciences, history/geography,art and gym)- English lessons- Exam : Delf (French) B1 or B2

*FLE = Français Langue Etrangère

Younger students:

For our students who are non-native speakers of French, the school organises French as a Foreign Language “FLE” lessons.

According to their age and level of French, these students will be set in special classes, or taken out of class during some periods.

This will allow the students to improve their French, while validating the academic year.

9th & 10th Grade French as a Foreign Language

For students who are not francophone(with a min level in French of B2)FLE support (max. 8 periods FLE per week)or FLE class (12 period FLE)Full immersion in French

All subjects in French ( FLE, maths, sciences, history, geography, art, gym)- English lessons- Exam : Delf (French) B1 or B2- Objective : validation of the school year
