Who will be involved 5. How will you train 6. How will you get input from the drivers and maintenance crew 7. How will you share this information with the team 8. What did you decide and why

  • The Roll-out Plan Determine where to start Highest risk region Highest risk machine Smallest site first Chose the order for the rest of the machines, regions, etc.

  • The Roll-out Plan Include anticipated timeframes Vague enough to give yourself wiggle room Strong enough to look serious Example: We will have site X installed and trained by end of Q4 Sometimes its good to show the soft and hard costs per install

  • The Roll-out Plan Training / Communication How will you communicate to the company that youre embracing a new technology? How will you train your installers and maintenance crew. Dont get me started on a bad install When, where, and how will you train your existing drivers on the new technology Surprise, even collision warning requires training What are your requirements if it is disabled? Keep working, return to shop, etc. How will you train new employees on the technology.
