tool for the user with only a few conveyor
belts, while providing the reliability and
performance of a machine splice. It is also
easy to use and inexpensive.
Simply place the lacer in a vise, load the
hooks, insert the belt, and close the vise.
The exclusive built-in pressure plate
ensures a consistent clinch for long-lasting
splices. And the Acusteel™ Hook Retainer
produces an optimal loop profile for maxi-
mum splice performance.
Vise Lacers are available for all series of
Clipper hook sizes in widths up to 10"
(250 mm). Wider belts can be laced in
multiple operations with the easy-to-use
continuous lacing feature.

The portable, easy-to-use Clipper® Roller
Lacer® makes it easy to lace belts up to 60"
(1500 mm) wide in a single operation. Belts
wider than the lacer’s width can be laced in
multiple passes with the continuous lacing
feature. A handle-actuated belt clamp holds
belts securely while twin rollers embed
fasteners evenly to create a strong, long-
lasting splice.
A durable, lightweight body made from
sturdy aircraft aluminum and a carrying
handle make it easy to take the Roller Lacer
on-site to lace belts right on the conveyor.
Plus, there is room for extra lacer pins and
face strips in a handy storage compartment.
For more frequent lacing applications,
and/or when installing hooks into hard
belts, specify the Roller Lacer with the
optional steel lacing head.

Alligator® Conveyor Belt Lacing Fastener System
For easy, economical installation and an
exceptionally smooth joint, choose the
Alligator® Conveyor Belt Lacing System.
Alligator Lacing is available in continuous
lengths to fit any belt width and the one-
piece design provides uniform tension
across the full belt width. The one-piece
fastener strip also ensures that there are no
loose pieces to work themselves out of the
belt and into the conveyed product.
Designed for belts from 1/32" (.8 mm) to
1/2" (12.5 mm), Alligator Belt Lacing
installation requires no special tools, only a
hammer. The lacing is secured with teeth
that embed lengthwise on the belt, provid-
ing a strong, vise-like hold. Clips hold gauge
rod and lacing firmly and squarely against
the belt and ensures a strong, straight splice.
The straight splice also helps ease hinge pin
insertion.

that use smaller pulleys, but still require a
high-strength, dependable splice. A choice
of sizes accommodate belts from 1/4"
(6 mm) to 5/8" (16 mm) thick.
Versatile, easy-to-install designFor belt conveyor applications subject
to frequent length adjustments, the Bolt
Hinged fastener is easy to install – and
re-install. The joint can be separated simply
by removing the hinge pin.
On-site installation requires hand or power
tools. Our exclusive piloted bolt also simpli-
fies installation and holds fastener plates
firmly in place. For added strength and
pull-out resistance, specially formed teeth
penetrate deep into the belt carcass without

Flexco® Bolt Solid Plate Fastener System
Flexco
®
Flexco® Bolt Solid Plate fasteners are engi-
neered to meet the demands of the toughest
material handling applications, providing a
strong sift-free splice and superior holding abil-
ity. A choice of sizes accommodates belts from
3/16" (5 mm) to over 15/16" (24 mm) thick.
High strengthHigh strength is the result of superior design
and plate compression on both the top and
bottom sides of the belt. High tensile strength
bolts compress top and bottom plates to
distribute splice tension evenly across the
entire width of each fastener plate. For added
strength and pull-out resistance, specially
formed teeth penetrate deep into the belt
carcass – without damaging carcass fibers.
Easy installationField-proven templets, punches, and boring
tools make it easy to quickly and accurately
prepare belts for fastener installation.
Fasteners are easily installed on-site using
portable hand tools or power tools. Our
exclusive piloted bolts also contribute to
faster installation.

capacity of up to three tons (2.7 metric
tons), when used with two 1-1 ⁄ 2-ton chain
come-alongs, it is ideal for rubber covered
and PVC heavy-duty belting from 7/32"
(6 mm) to 1" (25 mm) thick.
The Far-Pul HD also accommodates a vari-
ety of belt widths. So the need to inventory
different clamp bars for different belt widths
is eliminated. Clamp brackets slide easily
into place against both belt edges for easy
adjustability. And clamp-bar pins simplify

h-type® precleaner with V- or Vp-tips
High Efficiency Tungsten-Carbide PrecleanerThe Flexco H-Type® Precleaner with V- or Protected V-Tips is designed to be positioned on the head pulley and to remove the bulk of the carryback from the belt. Proven performance over 20 years as the most efficient precleaner in material handling applications such as coal, iron ore, bauxite and hard rock mining with vulcanized belts.
Features and Benefits • Workswithvulcanizedbelts. The tungsten carbide tips allow for maximum
cleaning efficiency and superior wear characteristics. Also available with protected tips for abrasive applications.
• Completecleaningsystem. When teamed with a secondary cleaner, it makes up a system that delivers maximum cleaning power for the most abusive conveyor applications.
• Madeforminingconveyors.Made from heavy-duty steel with corrosion-resistant powder coating, the H-Type is available in sizes for belt widths from 18" to 72" (450 to 1800mm). Additional sizes are available upon request.
• Optimalpositioning.Blade contact on the pulley is 15° below the horizontal centerline. This keeps the blades out of the discharge path and protects them from rocks, large lumps and other debris.

MSP Standard Mine-Duty Precleaner
Economical and EffectiveThe MSP Standard-Duty Precleaner is not your average solid-blade belt cleaner that mounts on the head pulley. It is a mine-tough design that combines simple, do-it-yourself installation, quick maintenance and effective cleaning results with an affordable price tag.
Features and Benefits• Quick-change blade. No tools are needed. Just pull one pin, remove the old blade,
slide in the new one and replace the pin.
• Works with Flexco and other mechanical splices. The spring tensioner quickly moves the blade away from the belt when a splice passes. The polyurethane blade easily glides over the splice without damage and with minimal cleaning disruption.
• Easy to service. All maintenance work is done from the easy-access side of the beltline. Blade retensioning and change-out are quick and easy.
• Fits most conveyor structures. Available for belt widths from 24" to 84" (600 to 2100mm). The MSP poles are extra long (belt width plus 54"/1350 mm) to accommodate varying structure widths.

Econo-Cleat® Model ECTatch-A
-Cleat
®
Designed to prevent material roll-back
on incline conveyors, the Tatch-A-Cleat®
Econo-Cleat® Model EC is ideal for light-
duty to medium-duty applications, including
grain handling, harvesting equipment,
material handling, and canned goods.
The versatile design also permits use as a
cleat, plow, or belt scraper in a variety of
positions and on any type of belt. These
cleats vary in height from 1-1/4" (31 mm) to
6" (150 mm) and in angles from 45º to 90º
before installation.
Tough and economical solution for bulk-materialhandlingThe Econo-Cleat is constructed from a spe-
cially compounded, durable EPDM rubber
that provides good resistance to abrasion.
Plus, it stands up well to all types of weath-
er, including constant exposure to sunlight
and ozone. Also available in PVC for less
demanding applications.
The Econo-Cleat also provides economical
cleating without remnants – short sections
may be butted together. Separate cleat
supports are not necessary.
