You can take advantage of the student price on public transport if you are aged 20–30 and come from or live in one of Föli municipalities. Those who are over 30 can also take advantage of student prices if they are entitled to a Kela study grant. Those aged 15–19 can travel with a young person’s card, which entitles users to the same ticket prices as a student card. You can apply student discount with application form which is available from Föli service office (Aurakatu 5) or online. To take advantage of student prices for travel you will need a card – these cards are personal and cost €5. Cards can be loaded online, at the service office on Aurakatu, at municipal service points, at Turku Main Library, at the citizen services point Monitori (Skanssi shopping centre), and at certain other shopping centres.     Before using the app for the first time you must register with the service. You can pay for tickets by credit card (Visa and Master-Card), the post-payment based iQ-payments system, or via the phone bill issued by your operator (Sonera and DNA).

    Tickets are sold at the normal price. A payment method surcharge of €0.2–0.5 will be added to card payments and phone bill-based payments.

    The app can be used to buy single tickets and tourist tickets. Single tickets include a 2 hour right of transfer. A ticket’s validity period begins from the time of the order.
