PILOT EXPERIENCE

Flightlink hires and retains the most seasoned pilots and invests in ongoing recurrences training programs twice a year at manufacturers recommended training facility, guaranteeing clients are in the hands of the best in the industry. Flightlink’s pilots are also required to hold a First Class Medical Certificate, which helps to ensure the safety of the passengers in case of an emergency.

The Jet undergoes routine safety checks and maintenance inspections as per the recommended manufacturers program at the Manufacturer recommended Service Centre in South Africa, to ensure that they meet TCAA regulatory requirements, but also meet the highest standards of safety and quality as per the manufacturers recommendations.

The Citation 560 jet has the capabilities of Air Ambulance and VIP Passenger charter. It can be interchanged as per mission requirement within an hour. Fully Pressurized and fitted with Pratt Whitney Twin Jet Turbofan Engines with a Range of 1700 Nautical miles and a top speed of 800KPH with Flying Service Ceiling of 41,000 Feet ASL

It seats 7 passengers on a VIP Club seating configuration with folded tables on each seat or 5 seats with a Medevac stretcher laid out on right hand side of the aircraft on a medevac mission.

The Life Port System & Stretcher on a Medevac/

Air Ambulance mission is equipped with Life Port Plus Aero Sled patient loading utility system with base unit that contains oxygen, compressed air pump, vacuum pump, and electrical inverter. On Medevac Mission, the Jet flies with a qualified Cardiac Life Support Paramedic (ACLS) and an ICU nurse with related equipments depending on the mission. The Jet has an Onboard Telephone, a forward beverage station and a flushable toilet at the rear of the cabin.
