Speed up Transient Solver

New transient solver allows for using a bigger time step

Looping over iteration is stopped when maximum number of iteration is achieved, or all normalized residuals for momentum, mass and energy achieved a predefined level.

Improved accuracy of highly transient pressure-dominated tasks

Working fluid:

Water as a compressible liquid

Initial conditions:

Pressure = 101325 Pa

Temperature = 293.2 K

Time step = 2e-6 s

New transient solver allows for calculating such tasks as filling/evacuating of a tank, water hammer

Working fluid:

Nitrogen

Initial conditions:

Pressure = 1 atm

Temperature = 293.2 K

Finish condition:

Pressure inside the tank = 100 atm

New transient solver is activated by the Nested iteration option

In version 15.0, the new solver doesn’t support — Rotation (Sliding Mesh, Circumferential averaging) — Condensation, humidity, steam, real gases — Cavitation — High Mach number

No need to split two resistor into 2 bodies
