Flash flood watch in effect from Tuesday 4/29/2014 at 10 pm to Thursday 5/1/2014 at 6 am. Flood watch in effect from Wednesday 4/30/2014 at 8 pm to Thursday 5/1/2014 at 10:40 pm.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog. Low around 54. East wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 70. South wind 11 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 60. South wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

ADVISORIES, WATCHES OR WARNINGS:

Rain will continue through Thursday afternoon. There is potential of up to four inches of rain total by Thursday afternoon when the systems exits the area. A flash flood watch is in effect at 10 pm tonight through Thursday, May 1st at 6 am. A flood watch for the Rappahannock River is in effect from Wednesday, April 30th at 8 pm through Thursday, May 1st at 10:40 pm. Minor flooding is predicted. Flood stage is 15 feet which may be approached by Wednesday evening. The potential exists Wednesday for severe thunderstorms that will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and a threat of isolated tornadoes.

Thursday A chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 74. West wind 5 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
