This map illustrates satellite-detectedareas of flood as detected bySentinel-1 imagery acquired on 28July 2015 near Lahore area inNorthern Punjab. It is likely that floodwaters have been systematicallyunderestimated along highly
vegetated areas along main riverbanks, and within built-up urbanareas because of the specialcharacteristics of the satellite dataused. This analysis has not yet beenvalidated in the field. Please sendground feedback to UNITAR
