Welcome to the I Am A Leader Reader Series. This series is designed to enhance your child'sreading ability, critical thinking skills, and leadership qualities.
As they learn to read they will become more confident in their reading comprehension. Asthey become more confident readers ask them the critical thinking questions at the back ofthe book.
The best way to teach your child to read is by consistently reading to them for short periodsof time. As a result this book was designed to be used over a span of five days for 15minutes.
CONGRATULATIONS
Day 1:Introduce UN WORDS. Go around your home and look for UN words. This will allow them to put a picture tothe words.
Day 2:Do the Word Builder.
Day 3:Do the flash cards. Remember make it fun.You can jump, wiggle, hop, or clap after every other word.
Day 4:Read the story and color in the pictures. The story was designed for your child to draw in the pictures. Feelfree to print out the book. This method allows them to better remember the words.
Day 5:Read the story.Your child should be able to start reading the story. Revisit any part off the book.

The race is on.
I run fast under the sun with my hair in a bun.
The cheetah won.
I run again.
I am next to the cheetah.

The next day, I ran so fast thecheetah came in last.
