FLORIDA CENTRAL COMMERCE PARK (FCCP) SYSTEM
In Seminole County, (FGUA Unif ied Aqua System) FCCP is a wastewater-only system. The system is located south of SR 434 on Flor ida Central Parkway. The system is interconnected to the City of Longwood since September 2016. FGUA serves approximately 78 wastewater customers. During the acquisit ion of the Aqua systems, the City of Longwood stated its interest to purchase the FCCP WW plant site. Accordingly on October 15, 2015 an agreement for a wholesale wastewater service, interconnect, and land purchase was signed between FGUA & City of Longwood. As per the agreement the wastewater interconnect was designed and the wastewater f lows were connected to the City’s col lect ion system. The WWTP was disconnected, disinfected and abandoned. The reclaimed water system serving irr igat ion to several propert ies was transferred to the City. Al l useful equipment has been relocated for FGUA ownership and use at other faci l i t ies. The City of Longwood now owns the WWTP plant site. The remaining plant infrastructure at the site wi l l removed by the City of Longwood as per the agreement.
