Rotarians Bill and his wife Beth of The Rotary Club of Interna-

tional Drive, Orlando stopped by to tell us about a raffle their

club is having with the grand prize being a seven day stay at

the Westin Grand Cayman resort and spa, plus $2,000 cash to

wards

Another local project that we support both financially and phys-

ically is Habitat for Humanity Veterans housing.

President Bill & Fundraising chair Dick presents a check for

$2,500 Dollars to fellow Rotarian and Habitat ‘s Fund Develop-

ment Manager, Danielle Stroud.

Linda McMahan and Dick Kanyan visit The House of

Hope, where The Rotary Club Of The Villages Noon do-

nated funds to purchase gardening equipment, so the

clients can grow their own fresh vegetables. This is

one of the many projects we serve locally.

Bud tells us that with the matching funds from Bill Gates

this month we helped 1,255 kids who were immunized,

against Polio plus 4 other diseases. He also mention only

39 cases of new Polio in the World this past year.

This is another chance to see our own Alex Santoriello and

it also in part benefits Rotary, but even if it didn't, we need

to support our own, and there is nothing wrong with hav-

ing a great time at the same time.

We all should get behind Alex, as he brings his Broadway

skills to the Villages.

Our Ken Mc Bride is preforming here at TheVillages at

the Sea Breeze Recreational Center on April 1, 2017.

You all had a good time when he preformed for us at

the Holiday Party grab a friend and see Ken again.

To All Rotarians,

Just a heads up for Saturday April 8.

Once again our club will have the putting green at this event. We are in need of

a couple of volunteers to help run this event.

Our team meets to set up at 9 AM and the event last till 12:30. We should be

done including putting away the putting green by 1 PM. Can you help this year?

I’ve received a lot of accolades for the success of the Contractor

Showcase & Lifestyle Show, and I thank you. Please remember

that this was a total team effort. Over 50 Rotarians, spouses of

Rotarians and other volunteers participated in this fundraiser and

devoted well over 800 hours to make this project the success that

it was.

I thank each and every one of you for your support and hard

work. I hope that you had fun!
