expressing their beliefs through art.

Why are signs and symbols important? Do religions share symbols? Why? Can art be used to express religious belief?

Sacred Texts

To explore a range of religious stories and sacred writings about God, the world and how we should treat it and human life.

To understand that there are similarities and differences in the answers that faiths give to questions and the ways in which faiths express and interpret ideas.

(Torah) Why do we value favourite books and stories? What are the sacred texts and sources that inform religions? What do these sacred texts and other sources say about:

God? The world? How do people think the world was made? Human life?

Key beliefs and teachings

To understand that all people have values and beliefs that informs their actions.

To understand the ways in which religious beliefs about God, the world and other people affect the ways in which people live their lives and the choices they make.
