Writing: Focusing on uppercase and lowercase, features of a proper sentence,
comprehending the stories through question answering, and different parts of a book.
Spelling words: leg, beg, men, hen, let, get, top, lot, no, some.
Social Studies:11(A), 11(B)13.A14(B), 17.B,18.B I can state ways to be a good Citizen.
Math: TEKS:1.3B I can use objects and pictorial models to solve word problems involving
joining, separating, and comparing sets. I can find missing parts of 8 and 9.
Science: TEKS: 1.6A I can identify and discuss how different forms of energy such as
light, thermal, and sound are important to everyday life.
To build up reading skills, please encourage your child to read at least 15 min a day
at home and maintain the reading log.

● Spelling test on Friday. ● Math homework will be sent home
on Thursday, and it’s due on Monday.
Please help your child to select any project focusing on Recycle/Reduce/Reuse. You can take ideas from the web address given earlier.
