Fokus Media was created in 2001 to develop the most impactful and interactive communication channels available in the College & University market.

By 2003 “NEX”, a communication medium that provides free Internet access to its surroundings by generating revenue through Digital, Internet and Static advertising sales, was born.

In 2004, Fokus Media successfully filed for a patent and commercialized Nex.
