Bank charges must be paid by the sender. All enrollments are subject to the following conditions, which become legally binding upon acceptance of the enrollment by Colegio Maravillas.

CANCELLATIONS All cancellations must be notified in writing to Colegio Maravillas not less than 28 days before the start of the course. The deposit of 150 Euros, is non-refundable.

Cancellations received: • 21 – 14 days before the start of the course: deposit of 150 € - 90 % of the remaing fees will be refunded • 14 – 7 days before the start of the course: deposit of 150 € - 75 % of the remaing fees will be refunded • less than 7 days: no refund

If the student wishes to withdraw after the start of the course, there will be no refund of fees. Any refund can only be made by the office or representative to whom the fees were originally paid.

Periods of absence for vacation or any other reason may not be made up with free extension of the course. Fees are not transferrable from one person to another.

Benalmádena is an attractive medium sized town of the Costa del

Sol (approx. 50.000 inhabitants) located on a hill at the foot of the

Mijas mountains range, only 18 km. from Malaga city and 12 km.

from Malaga International airport, this is within 3 hours flying time

from most European capitals.

Originally a sleepy Andalusian fishing village with beautiful white

washed houses, Benalmádena has developed into a lively and

animated town which retains its old charm and character.

The town is small enough to provide a peaceful and secure

environment, while large enough to offer good shops, hotels and

restaurants, a large park, a modern sports centre, a library, shopping

centres, cinemas, an art gallery, etc.

UM SERVICE: Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered to be Unaccompanied Minors (UM). Most airlines provide a service to assist these children from their point of departure to their final destination. If you book the UM service with your airline, we will provide in advance the name and telephone number of the person who will pick up the student at the airport and for departure this person will accompany the student until the boarding gate. The supplement is 25 €

This is a course designed for young

students from 13 to 17 years who wish

to attend a Spanish language course

during their springbreak.

The programme is available for individual

clients and small groups travelling with

their teachers. It has a similar structure to

our popular Summer Course, combining

Spanish lessons with social activities,

sports, excursions and visits.

The return transfer rom / to the airport is included in the course fees.

Flight details should be sent to our secretary office not later than 2 weeks

before the arrival date: flight number, airline, airport of departure and time

of arrival to Malaga.

Arrival and departure should be on Sundays and between 07:00 to 23:00

hours. Supplement of 25 euros in case of night arrivals/departures

Our representative will wait in the Arrival Hall (Just after the custom barrier)

with a sign and the student’s name on it. Before being transferred to their

host families, students may have to wait with our representative for up to 30

minutes in order to gather students arriving via other incoming flights.

The courses consist of 15 hours tuition weekly in small groups of 15 students

maximum. On the first day all students take a Language Assessment Test

which allows us to place them in the appropriate classes; we accept all levels

from beginners to advanced.

The lessons concentrate on oral and

listening skills. Our friendly and

enthusiastic teachers encourage role

plays and debates and will help you

building your confidence in speaking

and communicating in Spanish.

Students receive a Course Completion

Certificate at the end of the course.

The accommodation is provided with local host-families, previously interviewed and inspected, in double rooms sharing with international students and on half board basis from Monday to Friday; full board on weekends.From Monday to Friday, a hot buffet lunch is served in the school canteen.Extra nights on full board basis: € 33 per night

ALLERGIES: We have an increasing number of students

with allergies and especially intolerant to gluten. Please

note that although gluten-free products are

available in most supermarkets in town we

recommend to bring their own favourite food (pasta,

biscuits,etc). Students suffering from a special allergy

are only accepted if they are capable of managing their

allergy independently. We accept no responsibility with

regards to allergic reactions. It is mandatory that we are

informed about all student’s allergies when enrolling:

we need this information to place your student in the

correct host family.

This course is designed for young people from and is held 13 to 17 years

during school holidays - June to August - with flexible starting dates. It

combines formal classroom tuition with a varied programme of supervised

leisure activities, visits and excursions to introduce the students to Spanish

culture, sports and lifestyles. is located in a safe Colegio Maravillas

residential area of Benalmádena, only 10 minutes walking distance from

the beaches.

The School is situated on the top floor of a modern building with 14 large,

bright classrooms, equipped with audio-visual facilities and air

conditioning. There is also a library with a wide range of reading material

available, a multimedia room with free internet access, a 25-seat multi-

purpose room used for conferences or cinema, a large sunshade terrace

with a small cafeteria, common rooms, teachers’ room, etc.

WELFARE AND SUPERVISION

We are mostly concerned about the safety and well-being of our young

participants and although our main objective is to offer an enjoyable

language stay we have set up some rules:

1) Attendance to the Language course, to the afternoon and evening

activities as well as to the visits and excursions is COMPULSORY.

2) Students who abuse of Alcohol or use any drug will be immediately

expelled from the course with no refund of fees.

3) Students must respect the curfew set by the school:

a) All students are authorized to go out unaccompanied in the daytime

until 07:30 p.m.

b) Evening: students will be only authorized out unaccompanied with a

parental permission and always respecting the school curfew: please ask

for our "permission form" to be signed and returned 2 weeks before

your child’s arrival to Spain.

Le collège est très accueillant, tout comme

les personnes qui se sont occupées de

nous. La vie dans la famille se passe très

bien, toujours soucieuse de se faire

comprendre, les horaires sont adaptés.

Pour ce qui est des activités, elles sont très divertissantes et

variées. On a toujours quelque chose de prévu (avec du

temps libre quand même), le tout est équilibré. J’ai du plaisir

à être ici, c’est encore mieux que ce que j’avais imaginé!

It’s been a week I’ve been in Colegio

Maravillas and I find it good. The teachers

are nice and they explain well but

sometimes it’s a bit hard for me to

understand. The activities with the

monitors are really fun. I am having a great time and I’ve learned more things in one

and a half week then in two years at school.

The classes are great, the teachers are

s y m p a t h e t i c w h e n y o u c a n n o t

understand. They encourage you to try

your best and make you feel welcome.We have a good amount of liberty and we

respect that. I really enjoy my stay in Colegio Maravillas.

Que ce soit la famille, les professeurs, les

moniteurs ou bien même les habitants en

général, l´accueil a été très chaleureux. Les

cours sont supers, et je suis fier de mon

niveau B2! J´ai pu converser longuement

avec la famille qui m´hébergeait et quel plaisir de déguster

les "croquetas".

Les cours sont bien, et les professeurs sont

très gentils et l’ambiance dans les classes

est très bien. A midi, la nourriture est très

bonne et il y a beaucoup de choix. Les

excursions en dehors du collège sont très

bien aussi. Ma famille est gentille et s’occupe très bien de

moi, il ne me manque rien.
