The Alarming StatisticsThe National Average for Overweight Children in America is 31% – 33%Ohio’s Average for Overage Children is 34%

Children who are 10 years old and are overweight have an 80% risk of being obese as an adult.

Obesity in children increases the risks of heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, stroke, breast cancer, bone and joint problems, sleep apnea, mental disorders such as depression and low self esteem by 85%.

Obesity Costs us $93 Billion a Year in America in Medical Bills plus …- $800.00 per year per employee with missed work- $275 million in extra jet fuel each year for the extra poundage- $1,000 per year per employee in medical costs
