BETA CLUB UPDATE:
• Starting Monday, April 4th through next Friday,
April 15th you may campaign for your office. • ONLY 6th & 7th Grade BETA members CAN
VOTE! • Only hang your campaign posters in the 6th & 7th
grade hallways and in front of the lunch room.
Since 8th grade is NOT voting in this election,
there is no need to hang posters on their hall. • On Wednesday, April 13th- All 6th & 7th
grade Beta Members will go to the auditorium at
12:15-12:30 to listen to each candidate give a
speech on why they should vote for YOU! You will
deliver your speech on stage to the
other Beta Members. This gives the members 2
days to think about what you say in your speech
and why they should vote for you. BE PREPARED
for this speech!!! • Each candidate can give out candy, shirts, buttons,
pencils, or whatever you would like as long as it
DOES NOT get in the way of instruction in the
classroom. • We will vote in front of the lunchroom on Friday,
April 15th. • Winners will be announced at the end of the day on
Friday, April 15th.
-
• If you have any questions about the responsibility
of the office you are running for, email or see Mrs.
Lancaster. • If you have any questions, feel free to see Mrs.
Simmons in the 6th Grade, Mrs. McAbee in the
7th grade or me & Mrs. Lancaster.
