Following Directions Task with a US map 1. Go to Colorado. Drive north across two states (Montana). Then go two states west (Washington). Go two states southwest below that (California). 2. Go to Louisiana. Go three states north (Iowa). Then go one state south (Missouri). Go to the state northeast of that (Illinois). 3. Go to Maine. Drive southwest across five states on the northern border of the country (Ohio). Go southeast across two states (Virginia). Go southwest to the next state (Tennessee/Kentucky). 4. Go to Arizona. Drive northeast across two states (Iowa/SD). Drive north to one state (Minnesota/ND). Drive east across two states (Michigan/Wisconsin). 5. Go to the southern corner of California. Take a train east across three states to the middle of the state (Texas). Drive north across five states (North Dakota). Drive north again (Canada). 6. Go to Florida. Fly to the landmass east (The Bahamas). Sail south (Cuba). Catch a plane to the state in the northeast corner of the US (Maine). 7. Go to the northeast corner of Pennsylvania. Drive across the state line. Drive to the northeast corner of that state as well (NY). Drive east across two states (New Hampshire). 8. Go to Idaho. Drive to the state that is southeast of Idaho (Utah). Drive three states east (Missouri). Go to the state that is southeast of that (Tennessee). 9. Go to Delaware. Go northeast across two states (NY). Go to the middle of that state and go east to Boston (Massachusetts). Go to the eastern shoreline of that state, and drive to the state to the south (RI). 10. Go to Kentucky. Drive southeast across three states (South Carolina). Drive west across three states (Mississippi). Drive to the state directly south (Louisiana). 11. Go to Michigan. Fly to the state in the northwest corner of the country (Washington). Drive to the state to the east (Idaho), and then drive to the state to the northeast (Montana).
