    Filtration Systems

    Picture 1: MF-system in pilot-plant dimensions

Picture 2: Candle filter package units

Picture 3: Complete line for water processing

Classic filtration technologies for the treatment

of products have belonged to the established

process steps for a long time now.

Today, the application of modern membrane

filtration offers an interesting alternative in

    many process areas.

Water treatment is an area where membrane

    filtration has a solid placing.

The most varied water qualities, according to

requirements, can be prepared by selection of

    the processes and membranes.

Reimelt Guth Engineering also designs and

builds systems with the smallest dimensions,

which, for example, can be found at laborato-

ries for product trials for training and research.

    Filtration Systems

Picture 1: Ultrafiltration system raw material recovery

Due to the rising prices of raw materials, the

often immense disposal costs and the sharper

    environmental regulations, processes for the

recovery of product processing materials (such

as catalysts) are becoming more and more

    attractive.

Also the aspect of improved environmental pro-

tection can no longer be ignored. Only so can

the various industry branches fulfill their obli-

    gation to the next generation.

To fulfill these requirements, Reimelt Guth

Engineering offers the thermal separation tech-

    nology as well as membrane-filtration.

A comprehensive performance spectrum is our

    creed.

Today, a modern facility in the food processing

industry without CIP cleaning is unthinkable.

Reimelt Guth Engineering offers classic multi-

tank CIP systems as well as compact satellite

    solutions.

Your requirements and needs are always of

    primary concern.

Modern system technology comprises not only

cleaning technology but also the handling of

waste water or correspondingly the recovery of

water used in the production process. Welcome

byproducts such as biogas naturally increase

the cost effectiveness of the system.

Today, investments such as these, with regards

to resource conservation and a sustainable use

of the same, are more than worthwhile.

Whether its CIP cleaning or waste water pro-

cessing: Reimelt Guth Engineering is on your

    side as a dependable partner.

Changing market requirements make it neces-

sary for production systems to be able to adapt

    quickly." Just-in-time" production enables

    maximum flexibility and minimum storage

    capacity requirements.

The supervision of all operation and production

steps by a master control system is further evi-

dence of the extremely high safety level of this

    production concept.

    Mobile Containers

    instead of Stationary Hoppers

The ReciPure mix factory is an innovative and

    practical solution. Characteristics of ReciPure

include "product-pure" storage of the raw

materials in bins and the weighing of different

products in the mobile containers that are

assigned to a particular recipe. Cross contami-

    nation is therefore eliminated.

    Automation of the Future.

Modern factories in the food industry must gua-

rantee production with a high level of quality and

safety. When there is a large number of different

raw materials and changing recipes, there are

very high requirements for a cross contamination-

free production. Important factors include clea-

ning without loss to production capacity and

batch tracking, which is required by the EU as of

    January 2005.

    Transparent Production -

    More than Consumer Protection.

The Traceability of Batches and Raw Materials

    is Becoming Increasingly More Important

In food production a continuous transparency

of production processes has already become

    a quality and competition factor.

A transparent production quickly enables the

identification and elimination of faulty products

and the recognition of deviations in the product

properties. This, therefore, offers a far more

    constant product quality.

The main idea behind traceability is that all

raw materials that are used in the production

are exactly identifiable and this information,

along with the food production dates, are

    archived for later evaluation.

Because raw materials are also stored and

moved in a production plant, it is much safer

to identify them just before adding them to the

process and to store the data for traceability.

Reimelt system controls offer a variety of possi-

bilities from batch detail reporting to traceability.

In the later case, data is available for the pro-

cess management level or directly evaluated in

the Reimelt system. The open architecture of

    the batch management system PrismaWEB

enables the traceability necessary for the inter-

facing of bar code readers, mixer controls,ERP

    systems etc.
