Welcome to Our 36th Year! Conceived in 1978 out of the community’s desire to celebrate the arts, the Sweet Pea Festival has been committed to its mission of promoting and cultivating the arts for 36 years. Sweet Pea’s Board of Directors takes pride in planning a quality event each year and greatly appreciates the hundreds of additional volunteers and businesses that give time, services and dollars to ensure the Festival’s success. Proceeds from the Festival, above and beyond what it takes to produce each year’s event, are given back to the community in the form of grants for art and art education, special projects, and park improvements.
