Vol. 111, Issue 1 Monday, 23 rd Dec.’ 13 GRANT THORNTON INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - OCTOBER 2013 Dear Anil What can I say but the biggest thank you ever for the wonderful treatment your hotel staff gave our delegates at the above conference. With the commitment to come to your hotel only taken three weeks before the meeting, Your staff pulled out every stop to make us feel the most important firm who ever stayed at your hotel. Anil, our people were amazed that the General Manager of the hotel was so visible during the conference period. Neelam Sethi - kept us calm by giving us "calming bracelets", was outstanding in her assistance with the delegates who were sick, especially Mr. Fucci from Argentina. I would like you to tell her that Mr Fucci arrived back in Argentina yesterday morning. Neelam certainly went beyond her "call of duty" in this instance. Suhani Aggarwal - what can I say about Suhani - two years she kept in touch and wanted us to come to your hotel. Suhani kept in contact us 24 hours. I don't believe she sleeps. Suhani always kept a smile on her face even when we were being unreasonable. We have a phrase "every day I make a difference". Well Suhani certainly lived up to our promise. Neha Kapoor and Akshay Bajaj - We really kept these two on their toes with changes, non arrivals, etc. Again, all taken in their stride. Anurag Leekha was exceptional. Where ever we needed help, he seemed to appear as if he knew. I was astounded to see him in the garden on the Tuesday night helping to organise the space for the lunch and evening function on the Wednesday. Dhamija and his entire ballroom team - again an outstanding team who assisted us throughout. Very professional team. Abhishek and his team were extremely helpful in dealing with our delegates in the "GT lounge". Thank you for providing this to us and thank you to Abhishek for managing it so well. Page 1 of 2

GRANT THORNTON INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - OCTOBER 2013Dear Anil

What can I say but the biggest thank you ever for the wonderful treatment your hotel staff gave our delegates at the aboveconference. With the commitment to come to your hotel only taken three weeks before the meeting, Your staff pulled outevery stop to make us feel the most important firm who ever stayed at your hotel.

Anil, our people were amazed that the General Manager of the hotel was so visible during the conference period.

Neelam Sethi - kept us calm by giving us "calming bracelets", was outstanding in her assistance with the delegates whowere sick, especially Mr. Fucci from Argentina. I would like you to tell her that Mr Fucci arrived back in Argentina yesterdaymorning. Neelam certainly went beyond her "call of duty" in this instance.

Suhani Aggarwal - what can I say about Suhani - two years she kept in touch and wanted us to come to your hotel.Suhani kept in contact us 24 hours. I don't believe she sleeps. Suhani always kept a smile on her face even when we werebeing unreasonable. We have a phrase "every day I make a difference". Well Suhani certainly lived up to our promise.

Neha Kapoor and Akshay Bajaj - We really kept these two on their toes with changes, non arrivals, etc. Again, all taken intheir stride.

Anurag Leekha was exceptional. Where ever we needed help, he seemed to appear as if he knew.

I was astounded to see him in the garden on the Tuesday night helping to organise the space forthe lunch and evening function on the Wednesday.

GRANT THORNTON INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - OCTOBER 2013

Pardeep kept us supplied with coffee and tea and food. He made sure everything we required when in our office came and happened. A very pleasant person.

Last but not least I have to thank Amit Gulati who had the worst job of all in keeping our CEO and his wife - Ed and Lara Nusbaum, happy and ensured they were always in the right place. Thank you for giving me such a good rate to enable Ed and Lara to move to the Grand Presidential suite. Poor Amit had a number of very late nights as Ed and Lara entertained a number of our delegates. What can I say about Pallavi. She was supposed to be looking after me but suddenly found I came with seven other guests, and on top of this she had Gernot Hebestreit and Francesca Largerberg to look after also. Not only did Pallavi look after us but she also helped with the various "bags" we had to fill, she ensured all the different papers were in the right meeting rooms when required, assisting Tom. Also always ensuring we all eat, this is a great failing of mine when running these meetings so I was properly fed.

Anil, please thank everyone involved behind the scenes, catering staff, security, etc. My team and Lara Nusbaum wanted to take Amit and Pallavi home with them.

Everyone was magnificant.

Well, of course, the final wow was the red carpet when we finished on the conference on Saturday.

All I hear is how wonderful everyone thought that was. Thank you for thinking of that.

From my point of view, your whole team made my final conference a pleasure. Everything worked

out fantastic.

Wishing you all a very successful future and I will be singing your praises to my network group of

external conference organisers.

Kind regards

Ricky
