Provides education on food safety such as giving food safety tips and emphasises on the importance of food safety
Food labelling refers to any descriptive material comprising words,
pictures and diagrams that appear on the package of food.
Provides information on the food.
National Environment Agency
Conducts regular checks on food establishments (hygiene and cleanliness)
Management of hawker centres Oversees the licensing, management and regulation
of hawkers maintain and promote good hygiene practices and
public health standards in government hawker centres. Manages the upgrading of hawker centres.
Government incentives
Encouraging the industry with monetary support
Food Safety Programme
A joint effort by SPRING Singapore and the Restaurant Association of Singapore (abbreviated as RAS)
Encourages Singapore-based enterprises to achieve the international Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety standard

Funds up to 50% of the capital needed to implement the standards involved, including: Consultancy fees Employee training Certification cost
