FBM was founded in 1906 by Pio Briziarelli. FBM’s mission has always been to reach the highest quality of its products, always investing in high technology. This attention towards innovation comes from the past. In 1949 the first tunnel kiln for bricks and tiles in Europe was built in Marsciano; it revolutionized the production of tiles and bricks. It started the continuous cycle firing system. This progress has never stopped.FBM Fornaci Briziarelli Marsciano SpA is one of the most important companies in the building trade, the only one able to provide its customers with the whole range of building materials.FBM has been on the market for more than a century, it has always been a step forward, meeting the requests of the changing market and, today, it is an up to date player that has experienced a long-lasting period of suc-cesses.Four producing plants, more than 380 employees and a commercial network of more than 90 account execu-tives spread over the Italian market and eight warehouses.FBM in 2015 produced and distributed in Italy and worldwide more than 1 million tons of caly building mate-rials and its roof tiles have covered more than 6 millions square meters of roofing.For almost 100 years FBM brand has been identified with “clay roofing”. It is the most traditional key factor of the company. The FBM terracotta roofing range is wide. More than 100 certified products, available in many colours, nuances and tones are customer’s choice for both their attractiveness and their inimitable resistance.The plant in Marsciano is the biggest producing site in the world for clay roofing , with a daily production of more than 280000 pressed tiles and 180000 bent tiles and thanks to the mix of especially valued clays and to the machinery with the new refractory system in U-boxes, the roof tiles and bent tiles will reach 1080° C or even more, guaranteeing the well known characteristics of FBM products: frost resistance, mechanical resi-stance, waterproof resistance.A modern internal laboratory guarantees a constant monitoring of the production according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. In addition to this , the quarries belonging to FBM cover a wide area. An artificial hill 300000 mc in volume is made out of clay mix and 15000 mc inside the plant allows FBM roofing tiles to reach high quality and constant standards.These strong points of FBM allow the Company to meet the needs of even the top customers involved in the most important projects all over the world (Germany, Russian Federation, Poland, Hungary, UAE, USA, Austra-lia, Japan, Antigua, Ciprus).
