Troubleshooting

- Check the battery- Make sure the inputs into the board are inserted correctly- Make sure instrument cable is inserted fully- Check the instrument cable- Check the equipment the Warp Drive is plugged into

Controls

Experiment with the balance of the pickups to taste. We have found thebest results starting with all magnetic, then blending a touch of piezoto add attack, shimmer, and transparent frequencies.

Installation

You will need:Phillips screwdriver1/8 inch Allen wrench

Mount the jack on the frameusing the included hardware.Optimal position shownhere.

Unscrew tip and hardwareoff the jack, slide the jackthrough the mountinghardware and replace tipand hardware. Slide wireterminal through a slottedhole in the frame.

Remove the resonator. Insert thespring in between the two springholds and compress the Warp Drivewith the battery end at the neckposition. Lower it down towardsthe bottom of the rim until theEMG pickup touches the head.Raise the EMG pickup off the headusing the spring loaded screwsuntil it's a business card's distanceaway.

Use the included 3M two-sidedtape to adhere the piezo onto thehead. We recommend placing itdirectly under the middle foot ofthe bridge.

Plug in the connector from theframe to the circuit board.

The other thumb knob boosts mid frequencies to help translate the banjo'snatural tone. Turning it clockwise will add presence and fullness whiletuning back the highs and lows. Again, play with it until your plugged intone reaches new dimensions! When satisfied, reinstall resonator.

*Remove instrument cable from jack when not in use to avoid drainingthe battery

*Secure the unit when changing batteries to keep the battery compartmentor Warp Drive from shifting
