Melvin: Beloved faithful, I will share my Sabbatical fea-ture in next week’s bulletin on the basilica of St. Mary Across the Tiber (District of Trastevere), Rome, Italy. Its awesome interior will be high-lighted for it is dedicated on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Here, below, I share a private prayer (in the Roman Missal) of the priest when receiving the Body and Blood of Christ of which I shared last weekend on the Mass of the Body and Blood of Christ. Take this special pray-er for your private reflection:
May the receiving of your Body and Blood, Lord Jesus Christ,
not bring me to judgment and condemnation, but through
your loving mercy be for me protection in mind and body and a healing remedy.

Resuming Regular Mass Schedule St. Mary and Holy Rosary will resume regular Mass Schedule beginning the week of June 1st. All prior COVID-19 precautions will still be followed. We still encourage parishioners to maintain 6-feet of distance between families, the wearing of facemasks and proper hand sanitizing upon entry. We will also still limit the number of attendance to 25% capacity. Weekday Masses will continue to be celebrated in the main Church.
Congratulations Confirmation Candidates Congratulations to the 2019-2020 Confirmation Candidates of Holy Rosary and St. Mary who re-ceived the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend.
Sanctuary Lamps Anyone interested in purchasing a Sanctuary Lamp through the end of 2020 should contact Joann Schrader in writing if possible or by phone at 979-567-4994. St. Mary’s 125th Anniversary Celebration Update The St. Mary’s 125th Celebration Committee voted to postpone the August 9th celebration and all other events that were associated with the celebration. At this time there isn’t a rescheduled date. If you have any memories of St. Mary in photo, articles, etc. and would like to share them for the memory wall, submissions are being accepted. We ask for them to be sent to the Parish office or left in the provided box at St. Mary. Please send copies and not original prints. St. Mary’s will be sell-ing t-shirt and polos, if you’d like to purchase order forms will be on the St. Mary website or con-tact the parish office to be mailed an order form.
