O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You

and I put my trust in You and I break my fast

with Your sustenance.

“Our Lord! Take us not to task if we

forget or fall into error.“ (2:286)

Rabbanā lā tuākhidh’nā in nasīnā aw akh ta’na

يا مقل�ب القلوب ثب�ت قلبي ع� دينك

“O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm

upon Your religion.” (Tirmidhi)

Yā Muqalib al Qulūb thabit qalbi ‘alā Deenik

لنا ما � طاقة لنا به واعف عن�ا واغفر لنا وارحمنا أنت رب�نا و� تحم�

مو�نا فان£نا ع� القوم الكافرين

“Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have

not the strength to bear, grant us forgiveness and

have mercy on us. You are our Protector. Help us

against those who deny the truth.” (2:286)

Rabbanā walā tuhammil’nā mā lā tāqata lanā

bihi wa’fu annā wagh’fir lanā war’hamnā anta

mawlānā fan-sur’nā alāl qawmil kāfirīn

الل�هم� رحمتك أرجو ف¨ تكلني إ§ نف¦ طرفة ع¥،

وأصلح ® شأ¬ كل�ه � إله إ�� أنت

“O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do

not leave me in charge of my affairs even for

a blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my

affairs. None has the right to be worshiped

except You.” (Abu Dawud)

Allahumma rahmataka arju, fala takilni ila

nafsi tarfata ‘ayn, wa as-lih li sha’ni kul-lahu,

la illaha il-la anta

رب�نا آتنا ³ الدنيا حسنة و³ ا²خرة حسنة وقنا عذاب الن�ار

“Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and

good in the life to come and keep us safe

from the torment of the Fire” (2:201)

ākhirati hasanatan waqinā adhāban-nār

“In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is

protection against every kind of harm in the earth

or in heaven, and He is All-Hearing and

Bismillahil-ladhī la yadhurru ma’asmihi shay’un fil

ardhi wa la fis-samā’i wa huwas-sami’ul āleem
