To our Sacramento Waldorf School Community -

The 2019-2020 school year started as most of the previous 60 years have for our school: Excited, energized, and earnest. We reunited with our farm and animals, with our spacious campus, and withone another. We settled into classrooms and learning and school rhythms. And we took time to celebrate six

decades of Sacramento Waldorf School and 100 years of Waldorf education. Together in all ways.

The school year came to an end in a way that we could not have imagined at it's start. Physically separated for three months and waving from afar, we wished each other well for the summer.

Together in our hearts and heads, but not our hands.

Today we acknowledge you and all that you gave this year. Donations to support a thriving school and toensure that all who want to can attend. Volunteer hours to keep our campus beautiful, to create wonderful

festivals and events, and to ensure that our students and teachers are well supported. Time and talent to leadour Board of Trustees, Parent Guild, Boosters Club, and classroom outreach. And, tremendous collaboration

and partnership to enable students to continue their education, despite our physical separation.

Thank you all, deeply and fully, for contributing to our amazing school community, and for making this year successful in so many ways, despite the challenges we faced.

ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGNRAISING MORE THAN $100,000!


Tuition alone does not fully support our school.

Each year we reach out to our community to help us raise additional funds so that we can minimize tuition increases and keep our education as affordable as possible.

Participation to the Annual Giving Campaign is our biggest, broadest ask. A donation - of any amount -helps to ensure that our education, school, campus and faculty

can continue serving our students without significant annual tuition increases.

Contributions to our Annual Giving Campaign can be made in many ways: A direct donation, a monthlyrecurring contribution, payroll deduction for faculty and staff, and through workplace giving. Many

companies match employee donations as well as volunteer hours, boosting gifts significantly.

The Endowment Fund was started to ensure the highest quality education for current and future students. The Fundgrows with contributions made by individuals, events and bequests.The "Waldorf Cup" Golf Tournament, founded by

Alumni and Alumni parents in 2011, has been a significant funder of the Endowment.

Today, the Endowment Fund is more than $500,000. In 2019, the Board of Trustees voted to begin using interest earned on the Fund once it

reaches $1,000,000 to support teacher compensation, tuition assistance and scholarship opportunities.
