There is certainly no shortage of numbering, perforating and scoring machineson the market.

How it works. . .WHEN INK IS NEEDED

Numbering, Crash Imprinting and Blocking-OutPlaten (inking unit) (A) takes ink from form rollers and applies it to the numer-als on numbering head (B), which then imprints stock and trips to next num-ber as it makes contact with the Impression-cylinder (C). This process repeatswith each revolution of cylinders. (The same principle applies, of course,when using the signature and block-out bars.)

• A wide variety of perf and score rules, both 3-hole-punched (standard) andslotted, for the adjustable perf and score bar, are sold individually.

• All standard IGI numbering heads, ascending or descending, as well as center-drive heads have all characters ground to a radius to match that ofthe Impression-cylinder. (A standard feature provided by IGI, Inc. at noaddition cost.)

• IGI, Inc. also repairs and modifies numbering machines.

currently on the market, regardless of price, free-standing or press-attached, by the following combined features: original cost, speed, simplicity, make-ready time,replacement-part cost, and operating cost.

This unit is guaranteed against defective workmanship and materials. When usedunder normal conditions, it is also guaranteed to perform exactly as claimed whenused as advised in “Instructions for Use”.
