z To modify the reverse modulation valve:1. Remove the reverse modulation valve assembly from the valve body.
If the bore plug is difficult to remove, remove the 3-2 valve line-up from the opposite side of the valve body (Figure F1030-21 on page F129). then use a long punch to drive the reverse modulation valve assembly and bore plug ouot o fth evalve body.
2. Place a 7/32-inch check ball in the end of the reverse modulation valve, between the valve and the spring.The check ball acts as shim to increase spring tension.
3. reassemble the valve to the valve body.
