Penn Avenue Food Ministry continues to cook & serve the fourth Friday of every month. Please continue to contribute when you can, gallon cans of string beans, applesauce, and small elbow macaroni. They are still looking for volunteers and the sign-up sheet is located on the table next to the weekly prayer list. ACIM continues to serve those less fortunate in our community with assistance for food and other needs. Please continue to support these worthy ministries.

LOST & FOUND:

All personal items found in the sanctuary

(umbrellas, bibles, Sunday School booklets) will

be placed in the Front Vestibule. Please be sure

to check for lost items.

NOTE FROM BAPTISTS MEN: Dear N.C. Baptist Churches,

The recent flooding in West Virginia devastated many parts of that state. N.C. Baptists were asked by West Virginia Baptists to coordi-nate disaster relief efforts in Nicholas County. Right now, many of our volunteers are in West Virginia assisting with feeding, disaster recovery, childcare, chaplaincy, showers, laundry and many other aspects of disaster relief. Your gifts to the North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO) makes all of this possible. There are many hurting people in West Virginia right now who need our prayers and our help.

Consider taking a few minutes to pray for people in West Virginia. Please pray for the homeowners who have lost so much and are faced with a massive recovery effort. Please pray for the volunteers from North Carolina who are seeking to be Jesus’ hands, feet and voice to people they are ministering to.
