Contractor must ensure timber removed is allocated to the correct compartment when entered into Electronic Delivery Docket.
2. Management Conditions on Boundaries Boundary Conditions
Private Property Private property occurs adjacent to the eastern boundaries of the compartments, as indicated on the HPOM. Private property owners have been notified of the scheduled harvesting and post-harvest burning. The PP boundary must be located and marked by the FT (see Table 5 below). The boundary location should be identified using on ground survey markers (cairns, blazes, pegs etc) and compass bearings. As a last resort FCMapApp and GPS may be used with caution. Seek advice from the planner if required.
FMZ FMZ 3A – Harvesting Excluded and FMZ 4 – General Management (normal harvesting prescriptions apply) occur within the compartment. Refer to HPOM for more detail.
FMZ 3A - Harvesting and harvesting machinery are not permitted in these areas. Crew must protect all areas of FMZ 3A.
Research Any inventory plots located during the harvesting operation are to be treated the same as the surrounding area.
Cultural Heritage Surveys have been conducted. Exclusion zones for heritage items/places occur within the compartment and have been marked for protection. Immediately prior to harvesting the marking must be checked by the HC.
If any potential heritage sites are identified notify the planner immediately.
* Where field boundary marking instructions differ from SOP2: Exclusion Zone Boundary Management, the instructions in this Harvest Plan apply.

4. Haulage
Haul Route East via Belowra Road to Moruya Street onto Eurobodalla Road onto Nerrigundah Mountain Road, left on Eurobodalla Road then left or right on the Princes Highway.
OR alternate route;
South on Belowra Road then left on Cadgee Road, right onto Eurobodalla Road, left onto Cadgee Mountain Road, right onto Nerrigunda Mountain Road, left onto Euroboalla Road and left or right on the Princes Hwy.
School Bus Routes Eurobodalla road and Nerrigundah Mountain Road are used by school buses between the hours of 7:00am to 9:30am and 3:20pm to 5:00pm. On weekdays, to the greatest extent practicable, log haulage should avoid school bus times on the above roads.
Traffic Control Plan When harvesting within 2 tree lengths of Belowra Road, the road must be temporarily closed in accordance with “TCP_75_57_Belowra Road” attached to this plan. Forestry Corporation will provide suitably qualified personal to carry out the traffic control.
Prior to log haulage commencing from log dumps in compartment 3133, TCP_195_Belowra Rd (attached) must be implemented by the Harvest Coordinator. This is to warn motorists using Belowra Road of slow trucks entering.
Dust and Mud Where log haulage routes pass close to rural housing along natural surface/gravel roads dust and noise must be minimised to the greatest extent practicable. Trucks should reduce speed, restrict use to daylight hours and minimise the use of engine brakes through these areas.
Operating hours Restrictions apply to haulage contractors travelling through Nerrigundah where operating hours will be limited to between 7am and 7pm Monday to Sunday. Outside of these hours trucks must use the alternate route of Cadgee Road.

6. Infrastructure
Infrastructure Conditions
Utilities Underground Underground Telstra cables run adjacent to Belowra Road (on the southern side of the road) for approximately 100m inside the south-eastern boundary of compartment 3133. Field markers (where located) have been used to indicate the approximate location of the cable on the HPOM. The FT must check the field markers to ensure they are adequate if requires hang additional flagging tape to show location.
If snigging or forwarding over the cable is required the crew must contact an Accredited Plant Locator (Coastal Cable Locators Pty Ltd) on 02 4457 1258 or 0427 975 777 to determine cable depth and suitable crossing point prior to commencing the activity.
The crew must report all damage to underground utilities immediately.
Control Lines for Post Log Burning
In these compartments, post log burning must be prevented from entering the private property and vacant crown land.
Control lines to be constructed by the crew are indicatively mapped on HPOM, however final location will depend on snig tracks and areas harvested.
The HC must liaise with the Protection Coordinator during harvesting to more accurately plan where control lines are required.
Existing Fire Trails Existing fire trails and through access should be left in a trafficable condition, free of harvesting debris and any installed rollovers must be trafficable.
7. Harvesting Conditions
Silviculture Type Harvesting Objectives and Stand Condition
STS Heavy The harvest area is predominately mixed aged forest dominated by Silvertop Ash and Yellow Stringybark with scattered Mountain Grey Gum and White Stringybark. The objective is to harvest all commercially available trees to create canopy openings and ensure mechanical disturbance creates a suitable seed bed for regeneration of the stands.
Crew to retain well-formed seed trees of preferred species at ~40 m spacing
HC to instruct crew to retain patches of quality advanced regeneration where they occur.
Crew to remove all merchantable stems not marked for retention and ensure mechanical disturbance creates a suitable seed bed for regeneration.
The crew is responsible for protecting retained seed trees and retaining patches of advanced regeneration.
Future Treatment Area (BA Offset)
As mapped. To be retained for future harvesting treatments and to manage IFOA basal area limits for this harvesting event.
Monitoring The HC must conduct Basal Area monitoring in areas treated with STS Heavy.
Any changes to treatment and offset areas need to be endorsed by the Operations Planning Manager.
