It’s strong, beautiful and reassuring, this is our connection with God.

He says he’s near, and we believe he is, for he shows us his presence, for those who are willing to feel it!

Different people are in different stages in the relationship with God

Different people would do different things, for the sake of the relationship to last

Group A would talk to him all day, only ask for what they need, we’ll name them the forever needy

Maybe group B would talk to him all day too, say what they feel towards everyone and everything around them, God becomes their friend.

And they’ll be the forever friends

Now there’s a group C who wouldn’t even talk to the Lord

Ignorance or even their day to day life would be a barrier in their communication with God

These are the

Forever absent

And group D, they think they know him but they don’t, that they’re serving him but they aren’t.

Sometimes they even lead others to blaspheme God

And group D are the forever mislead

Group E have this unconditional love, commitment to their relationship and would do anything to keep it

Even if they have to die for their love

These are forever together

Now group A says;

“God gives us what we need, don’t you say he’s almighty and can do anything?

I’m just asking what I need, and I believe that he’s the one able to provide me with all I wish for.”

Group B replies;

“You’re right, A, he’s almighty, but he’s also a good friend, why don’t you talk to him cause you love him.

When no one is ready to listen to me, he listens, and sometimes we can feel his comforts through the bible or even through a hymn.”

Group C adds;

“B, you may be right he’s a good friend but when do you get the time to talk to him? Don’t you have a life to live?

Maybe the loneliness makes you find him a friend, but we have our businesses to care about too!

D gets angry;

“Do you even know what you’re saying C? you don’t speak to our lord? The reason for our grace? Shame on you shame!

You should talk to the priest, hope he doesn’t punish you! Oh lord forgive them lord!”

E? you’re waiting for us to speak?

We’re in the presence of the lord, joyful and would never turn back, they say we suffered,

but all we remember is that everything we’ve been through we weren’t alone.

There are many more groups, some are strong to remain in a healthy relationship, others just go on with their lives, busy with everything else but God.

Some leave and forget, all bridges between their world and the lord are covered in mud of negligence.

Good news:Even if we are going far, He comes after

us, trying to make the relationship everlasting, till the day we enter his heavens. He’ll never get bored of trying to get to your heart.

Just take the first step and open your heart’s gates!
