The KAB 65-K4 is a heavy duty, air suspension seat that is ideal for use in large forklifts that have the cabin space to accommodate a seat of this size.

Uniquely, it is the only seat within the KAB forklift seating range that is user weight rated to 200kg. It is also the only seat in the range that accommodates belt interchangeability, thus allowing you upgrade the seat belt (lap, 3 point or harness) at anytime without having to replace the entire seat.

These unique features combined with the capability to eliminate up to 70% of harmful vibrations, as well as an extensive range of ergonomic adjustments and user-friendly controls makes the KAB 65K4 the best choice for large forklifts.

Heavy DutyThe KAB 61-K1 is the heavy duty, mechanical suspension variant of the KAB 65K4. Therefore, it too is best suited to large forklifts that have the cabin space to accommodate a seat of this size.

Uniquely, the KAB 61-K1 is the only seat within our mechanical seating range that is user weight rated to 170kg. The mid height backrest is especially popular in applications where there is a need to regularly look rearward.

Like the KAB 65-K4, the KAB 61-K1 can eliminate up to 70% of harmful vibration and incorporates an extensive range of ergonomic adjustments and user-friendly controls. Therefore, where it is not possible to use an air suspension seat, the 61-K1 is the best mechanical option for large forklifts.

Air 554 / 554B / 554C

Large Forklifts

The KAB 554B is an air suspension seat that incorporates several unique features that are not common to other seats in the KAB forklift range. These include: auto driver weight adjustment to ensure correct ride settings and therefore ensure optimum vibration absorption, and an adjustable pneumatic lumbar support for enhanced user comfort.

This seat is typically used in instances where the KAB 65K4 is too large to fit in the available cabin space.

Mech 525The KAB 525 is a mid back mechanical forklift seat. Like all seats within KAB Seating’s product range, the KAB 525 incorporates user-friendly controls and an extensive range of ergonomic adjustments. These features ensure prolonged user comfort and therefore epitomise the KAB Seating slogan, “Enter The Comfort Zone”.

Like all KAB forklift seats, the KAB 525 is able to accommodate any additional safety requirements with the optional occupant sensor, armrests and lap belt with an electric buckle.

The KAB 525’s size and mid height backrest make it especially suitable for large forklift applications that require regular rearward vision. In fact, it is typically used in instances where the KAB 61-K1 is too large to fit into the available cabin space.

Seat Maintenance:

Like anything with moving parts, we recommend that you get your KAB Seat serviced at least every 12 months. Doing so will ensure that your seat remains in good working order and absorbs the required levels of harmful vibration. Furthermore, regular servicing can also significantly extend the life of your seat, saving you money in the long-run.

Our distributors and dealers are happy to service your seat for you.

Recommended Repairers:

Most KAB Seats have been designed to be refurbishable and therefore can generally be repaired.

Our vehicle seating distributors and most of our vehicle seating dealers have the required experience and expertise to conduct quality repairs on most KAB Seats.

They carry most of our common spare parts in-stock and therefore should be able to repair your seats in a reasonable time frame.
