The class teacher does the role of Academic Guidance, Counselling and Mentoring via various activities such as preparing month-wise irregular students’ list, reporting it to the higher authorities, informing parents & meeting them in person, counselling students, maintaining records of test marks & organizing guest lectures and industrial visits. Throughout the marks& organizing guest lectures and industrial visits. Throughout the in solving students’ difficulties & concerns, after consultation & coordination with the HOD & the principal. The campus minister contributes to the counselling and guidance to the students independently.

Students who have completed Diploma and have taken admission directly in second year, face problem in handling some subjects with mathematical background. Extra

lectures are conducted for such students to help them cope up with the subjects. The

subject teacher conducts extra lectures for them. The subject teacher also conducts extra tests for the students who did not perform well or have failed in the tests.

Career Counselling We have a full time Training and Placement Officer and tie ups with various reputed companies some of which are Infosys Capgemini, Accenture, Hexaware, L & T, Satyam, MBT, PCS, Godrej Infotech, Syntel, Polaris. These companies conduct a campus

recruitment drive for the DBIT students. We have signed MoUs with SAE-India, EMC2

Patni Computers, Oracle University, Sun Certification, CAD-CAM, etc We also run Campus-Connect institute-industry interaction program with Infosys. We also provide Carrier guidance to our students by conducting various programs such as IMFS, Kraft Education, KIC guidance, etc. Talk on “Recession & Importance of Entrepreneurship inside Organizations” is given by an expert from T.I.M.E. An aptitude test was also conducted for the students. Workshop on “Communications & Team Building” was conducted by ASPIRE. The primary goal of Training and Placement cell to provide 100 % placement assistance to all DBIT engineering graduates. Training and Placement cell of DBIT has achieved commendable success in placing engineering students in both MNCs and in medium scale industries. The salary package ranges from average 3.00 LPA to 9.00 LPA.
