BID 19-50-1620
For: Providing all materials, equipment and labor for restroom renovations at Hearthstone Lodge Community Center.
This addendum supersedes and supplements all portions of the bidding documents and becomes part of the contract documents for the above-referenced project. Where any item called for in the specifications or indicated on the drawings is supplemented hereby, the original requirements shall remain in effect. Where any original item is amended, voided or superseded hereby, the provision of such item not so specifically amended, voided or superseded shall remain in effect.
Clarifications from Mandatory Pre-Bid April 10, 2019:
1. Access is through the side door, reminder contractor is responsible for protection of flooring, walls from damage
2. Salvage wood slat walls as much as possible
3. Water fountain to be replaced – Sr. Center requested it by a hydration station type (to fill water bottles)
4. Confirmed electrical panel is one designated in place
5. Detail 2.5.1 – only one tile type T.1 for flooring and “wainscoting”, Type T-2 for sink areas
6. Hours of operation 7:00 am – 5:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 7:00 am – 6:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday
7. Contractors had asked for either earlier hours or perhaps a Saturday – concern is over the noise for the users of the
facility
8. Dumpster and laydown area will be designated in parking area
9. Fire Alarm – it is a strobe light notification

1. Do you want us to quote for whole building to be monitored of fire alarm? or only quote to install smoke detectors at
restroom?
Quote for smoke detectors in the restroom. Interpretation of the code is that since this is a renovation of a small
portion of the building, the entire building does not have to be brought up to code. Revision to drawing E-102 Note 5
to be sent at later date.
