Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions a parent makes for their children. Child care should fit a parent’s idea about parenting and learning, as well as their child care needs.

The Family Child Care program at Ft. Belvoir (FCC) offers a safe home like environment, profes-sionally trained providers, nutri-tious meals and snacks, smaller ratios, Creative Curriculum Standards of Learning and mul-tiple child care options that meet regular and mission readiness child care require-ments. FCC homes on and off post comply with Army regula-tions (AR 608-10) in reference to adult to child ratios, the USDA Food Program nutri-tional requirements and train-ing guidelines.

center offerings and educa-tional experiences with other providers. Parents are encour-aged to be a positive part of the child’s care experience and are welcome to visit their FCC programs during operating hours, go to Parent Advisory Board meetings and attend parent trainings and field trips.

For registration or enrollment information contact Erica Henry at 703-805-9135 or Par-ent Central Services at 703-805-1908.
