    GCMs Scholarships & Awards

    Early Payment

    All accepted applicants who pay their full fees before the 1stofJune will receive 400 in the form of a reduction in the normaltuition fees.

    Merit & Motivation

    Up to 4000 will be awarded to the most exceptional student.The students will be assessed through criteria such as: transcriptof records, achievements outside education and the motivationbehind their decision to study at GCM.

    All interested applicants should submit a transcript of records,CV, a motivation letter and two letters of recommendation at:[email protected].

    Loyalty

    Students who complete their Foundation Course at GlobalCollege Malta and decide to progress to another degree offeredby GCM will be eligible for the Loyalty Award. The total amountwill vary according to achievements in previous studies.

    After-graduation Award

    This award is unique as it gives a chance to students who did notachieve good grades during their previous studies and are thusnot eligible for Merit Scholarships. All students (except those whoreceived a Merit Scholarship) can compete for this award, whichwill refund up to 80% of their annual fees.

    Foundation Course in Management with English

    The Foundation Course in Management and English is to be introduced by GlobalCollege Malta as a first course for students who intend to proceed to study fora degree in management at Global College Malta. It is a unique course in thatit has three components - Management Studies, English Language Studies, andManagement Skills.

    For students who do not desire to attend a university, the course will act as avaluable stand-alone introduction to management and the English language,thus advancing their skills portfolio. The introduction of management skills willalso greatly benefit students in the job market.

    The aims of the course:

    Transfer basic management skills to the students;

    Enable students to continue their degree studies at Global College Malta;

    Through application of the language, develop a level of uency in English thatwill provide students with a sound foundation for job applications and careeradvancement (e.g. IELTS 6-6.5).

    The course will contribute significantly to further development of key competencessuch as Communication in a Foreign Language, Mathematical Competence, DigitalCompetence, Learning to Learn, Social and Civic Competence, Sense of Initiativeand Entrepreneurship, and Cultural Awareness and Expression.

    Entry Requirements:

    With reference to the English education system, one GCE A level passat a minimum grade of C and five GCSE exam grades at a minimumlevel 2, including Maths and English. Or the equivalents of the abovefrom another recognised education system.

    English minimum IELTS 5 or equivalent. (English preparatory courseavailable for those who do not meet this standard).

    If an applicant does not meet the above requirements, any otherrelevant qualification(s) and/or evidence of relevant experience will

    be reviewed by the GCM Admissions Panel to agree their acceptancefor entry.

    Applicants who do not meet the minimum entry requirementsin English Language will be offered a 6-week English PreparatoryCourse prior to the start of the Foundation Course in Managementwith English. The entrance requirements for the English PreparatoryCourse are an IELTS score of 4 or equivalent.
