    What is your philosophy of education? To find out, read each of the following

    statements about the nature of education.

    Each of us has a philosophy of education, a set of fundamental beliefs

    regarding how we think schools should be run.

    A. Decide whether you agree or disagree with each statement. Use thefollowing numbers to express your response.

    the information provided for you by the three foundations of education,

    discuss comprehensively the following questions given below.

    1. Any one can improve his Social Status through education. What mustthe school do to promote upward social mobility among students?

    Give some examples of upward mobility and cite the means that

    would make them possible

    2. Who make or unmake teachers? Who are answerable for theteachers success or failures? Are the teachers accountable on issues

    of inadequacies, poor performance, and low ratings in any school

    achievements? Who are responsible of making teachers?

    3. The family is one of the social institutions that develop the behavior ofthe young. What characteristics of the Filipino Families do you

    consider worthwhile and should be preserved?

    4. What is an ideal School Environment? Discuss it in terms of thefollowing factors:

    a. Physical environment (buildings. Facilities, classrooms, offices,playground)

    b. Human relationship (rapport between and among schooladministration, faculty, personnel and students)

    c. Social climate (open, oppressed, esprit-d-corps, peopleengaged themselves for intellectual growth, )

    5. Discuss the effects (positive or negative they may be)of the followingchanges such as industrialization, urbanization, advance mode of

    transportation/ communication, increased leisure time, social

    mobility, and others in society into an Individuals way of life. What are

    the roles of the school/ teachers to prevent the harmful effects they

    may inflict upon the individuals/ family?

    6. Communication skills must be developed among the students.Illustrate what must be the most effective way of communication by

    which any teacher may apply in conducting the teaching activity?7. If youre to write an open letter to your students, what are you going
