1. The Profession of Faith
– Faith (shahada) “La ilah illa Allah wa Muhammad rasul Allah,” meaning “There is no God but the one God and Muhammad is His prophet.”
• Acknowledges that there is no god but God (Allah) and Muhammad is the messenger.
