What does this mean?

• Personal Pronouns are used if you want to replace a noun with the word “it.” In German you use pronouns that apply to the gender:– Das Buch ist cool. Es ist cool.– Der Bleistift ist gelb. Er ist gelb.– Die Cola schmeckt mir gut. Sie schmeckt mir gut.

Just like our articles (der, die, das) – our pronouns will change when in accusative case.
