We produce a range of kitchen and wardrobe ready to paint doors. We offer a choice of styles from period favourites to the American Shaker style.

Doors are produced from high quality MDF in two thicknesses 18mm and 22mm.

New to our range are the fixed frame doors ready to fix to your existing kitchen units/wardrobes or to your new installation. The doors are shown primed ready for painting.

How To Order Our doors are made to measure and can be used to replace your existing kitchen or wardrobe doors or for new installations. You will need to read our technical information to enable you to order the correct sizes. If you are replacing existing doors simply measure your old ones.

You will need to list all doors on the order form, giving height x width and style. To cost the doors take the nearest size above the size you require from the prices, remembering to select the correct price banding. Fill in the quantity in the box provided with the total for each size as the example.

Any accessories that are required can be added beneath the doors e.g. cornice, light pelmet, end panels, plinth, skirting etc.

If you require your doors and accessories to be given a coat primer simply add 20% to the total cost. Add any hinges and hinge drillings to your list and then calculate the delivery cost.

Please enclose your cheque or credit card details for total price and send to us at our address on the order form.

Our fixed frame doors are ordered using the fixed frame order form. Details of the required dimensions are included in the fixed frame doors technical information. All boxes on the order form require filling in to enable us to make your doors.

As with the standard doors simply add any accessories to your list of fixed frame doors and priming.

We produce doors in two thicknesses 18mm and 22mm for added choice. Please add 5% to your price for 22mm doors and indicate on the order form.

Georgian, Classic and Edwardian shown overleaf with Ovolo edge available at no extra cost, please request when ordering. All other doors have square edges.

The standard position for the hinge when ordered. If a different place is required please state clearly the exact position

Measuring Your Doors Door heights on base units: doors and drawer fronts require clearances to allow for opening. If you are replacing doors that can be measured follow the instructions below.

Any door or combination of a door and drawer/drawers will be 5mm less than the height of the carcass with the door being flush with the bottom of the carcass. Gaps between the doors and drawers on the same unit will be 3mm (see fig 1).

Wall units heights: doors for wall units are 6mm less than carcass heights to allow a 3mm gap top and bottom (see fig 2)

Tall unit heights: doors for tall units are 3mm less than the carcass height. The doors are flush at the bottom with a 3mm gap at the top.

Door widths: Individual doors are 5mm less than the carcass width to allow a 2.5mm gap either side (see fig 3). Where doors are double each door is 4mm less than half the width of the carcass.

Door Specifications Drawer fronts up to 150mm high are 18mm or 22mm solid MDF (see fig 4). Drawer fronts from 150mm to 200mm have a 40mm top and bottom rail and a flat panel (see fig 5). Drawer fronts and doors above this have 75mm rails all round (see fig 6). Doors above 1600mm will have a centre rail above a 100mm rail 700mm panel. This rail can be positioned at a different height if required (see fig 7). Price grid relates to 18mm thick doors, for 22mm add 5% to price. Door centre panels will be either 6mm/12mm/15mm or 18mm depending on style and thickness.

Hinge Positions Hinge holes can be positioned anywhere. The exact location of the hinge must be specified when ordering. If hinge holes are ordered and no custom position is required they will be at 22mm centres from the edge of the door and 85mm centres from the top and bottom of the door (see fig 8). Doors over 1500mm require a third hinge.

Accessories Details and Prices


Lighting Pelmet The lighting pelmet fixes under the wall units. The front face of the pelmet comes flush with the front face of the doors. In 2400mm lengths.

Cornice The cornice is designed to fit to the top of the wall units and tall units. In 2400mm lengths.

Plinth The plinth can be fitted over the top of existing plinths. The plinth comes in two sizes 150mm x 15mm and 175mm x 15mm.

Additional Accessories End Panels End panels are designed to fix onto the end of wall units and base units to come level with the front face of the doors. Base unit panels should be ordered the same height as the carcass. The wall unit panels should be ordered 50mm taller if the lighting pelmet is to be used on the bottom of the units.

The end panels come in either 15mm or 12mm thicknesses with both available in a country style which is V grooved to match the country style doors.

Wardrobe Door Specifications and Styles

Also available Georgian or Chamfered Shaker and moulded rails and stiles on Country style ( as

Georgian ). All doors are avilable either 18mm or 22mm. If ordering multypane doors we advise you

go for the thicker doors. They are priced from the standard doors

price list. These doors require a minimum of three hinges when above 1500mm in height. Profiles of

the doors are shown on the rear of the framed and standard door leaflett.

Measuring for your frame units The first measurement we require is the thickness of your existing or new carcasses. They are usually 15mm or 18mm thick (please mark the thickness on fixed frame door order form).

Carcase heights We need to know the height of your carcasses base and wall units (excluding plinth see fig 1). Also mark this on the order sheet along with the width and style for each frame in the appropriate places.Please check all carcasses.

Appliances When ordering frames for carcasses which house appliances we will require the inside measurement. To allow the appliance to be fully accessed as most appliances fit snugly to the inside of the carcasses. A sketch of the unit with sizes would assist (see fig 2,3).Your carcase will need space either side for the frame to fit. (as fig 2) If you are unable to alter the position of your carcase, units can be made for the doors only (as fig 3)

Drawers Your existing drawers will have to be cut down in size to operate correctly with the fixed frames. If you don’t fancy trying to cut your existing drawers down you can order new ones already sized for your frames. The drawers will be supplied with packing pieces to fit to your existing units so they will operate correctly.

Corner units Where you have a corner unit measure the width of both frames required, marking them A+B, so we know it is a corner. One unit will be made with an extra piece to go into the corner with the other one butting up.

Order Form List all frames with required measurements, thicknesses, styles, accessories etc. Calculate your total price including delivery charge. If you have any problems calulating your frame size give us a ring for assistance.

Every Fixed Frame unit comes complete with frame, the door/door ready hung drawer fronts and fixings to fit to your carcasses. Units can be supplied blank or primed for an extra cost. Full hand painted finishes are offered. You will have to discuss your requirements with us.

Drawers carcases are available for your new fixed frames. Supplied in a simple kit form, for you to

assemble, with high quality metal sides and runners. The draw carcases come with backets to fit to the

draw fronts and packing pieces to allow fitting to your existing carcaes for smooth operation. The bottom and

back of the draw is supplied in MFC.
