Session 2 Mathematics: Number busting: our number for today is 16. Draw and write everything you know about 16 (you can use any operation you like). Find a partner to play ’Strike it out’. Write down the numbers 1-20 First person writes a number sentence, such as: 5+11=16. They cross out the 5 and 11 on the number list and draw a circle around 16. Next person uses 17 in their number sentence, such as 17-10=7. They cross out 17 and 10 and draw a circle around 7. The game continues until a player is unable to write a number sentence with the numbers left or there are no numbers available

Mathematics: Choose another cupboard at home. Ask your family which cupboard you can investigate. Group/classify objects into categories for example, tins and jars, plates and cups. How many objects in each group or category? Create a tally table and convert to a graph to represent what is in the cupboard. When completed, go to your bedroom wardrobe and repeat.

Note down your items and the total cost of the party and do you have any change? Include things like:

Session 3 Creative Arts: Pick a favourite song and create your own lyrics with that tune. Once you have completed, perform to your family.

Science: Research and investigate a life cycle of an animal (eg. frog) and a plant (eg. sunflower). Draw and label the life cycles.

History: Research a religion (Christianity, Buddhism, Islamic, Hinduism, Judaism). Research one celebration from a religion above and write an informative piece. Please include: When is it celebrated? (date) Where is it celebrated? (country/place) Why is it celebrated? How is it celebrated? (eg. clothes, food, traditions, activities) Draw pictures from your chosen celebration and label them.

Creative Arts: EASTER ACTIVITY Draw a basket containing 6 Easter Eggs. Each Easter Egg has to have a different design, pattern and colours. Once finished place it on your fridge.
