Each dorm accommodates up to 8 people and is en suite. Though we won’t be spending much time in the dorms – we’ll be too busy.

FoodLots of it. Delicious. Lots of choice. No-one goes hungry. You don’t have to have snails and frog’s legs if you don’t want to!

• All with trained instructors – Chateau has excellent safety record

• If particularly cold or wet, water activities will be swapped for alternatives. Water is 2ft deep.

Excursions

• We will be going on several trips to local towns, the supermarket, the beach, a French market etc.

• We will also be visiting the Remembrance Day memorials within Rue to support our WW2 topic.

Medication

• Pupils with asthma must bring 2 inhalers.– One will be kept by staff.– One will be carried by the pupil at all times.

• Calpol forms. • All medications must be labelled clearly with

the child’s name and the dose to be administered.

• They’ll miss you & you’ll miss them.• They’ll miss you less if you’re strong.• You’ll be reassured by the regular tweets &

we won’t show the comments to your child until the journey back. No contact is better for them – they’re much more able to cope.

Important messages (e.g. arrivals and departures) will be passed to parents using a phone tree. We will send messages to the 3 people at the head of the tree. Each person then passes the message to the next person on the list.

If you would like to be part of the phone tree, please add your name to the sheet or contact your child’s teacher.

Cost

• Same as last year - £294• Payment plan available within school. Money

paid in small chunks between February and July. • Speak to us about discounts for families with

more than one child on the trip.

Confirmation slip by Friday 27th January 2012. Deposit (£50) needed by 24th February 2012.
